Friends & Neighbors: the Vision

It’s always been about restaurant.

We can’t even believe we’re finally writing these words, but IT’S HAPPENING.

We’re teaming up with Mike Bean and Gabriela Bonfiglio from Asheville’s Finest Deli to bring you Finest; a neighborhood deli and luncheonette located on Haywood Road in West Asheville.

To those of you located in Hendersonville who may be slightly surprised by our choice to relocate, we get it. But when this opportunity popped into our lives, we knew we wanted to be involved. Although we’ve enjoyed serving our community in the private dining and catering world, we’re stoked to be cooking in a restaurant kitchen again. We’ve missed it!

To start, we will be opening for breakfast and lunch with sandwiches, (think chopped cheese, meatball, chicken parm vibes) hot composed dishes, a top-notch deli case/pantry and a walk up window for those with a tighter schedule. There will be strong coffee! There will be olives and bread! There will be pristine vibes!

Opening summer ‘25.

Thanks to everyone who has supported us throughout our Friends & Neighbors journey. From takeaway dinners during the pandemic, to community meals in Helene aftermath, we appreciate you more than we can express.
